The Teutopolis Monastery Museum, Located off Route 40, at 110 South Garrott Street, in Teutopolis, will be open to the public on Sunday, July 5. The hours are from 12:30-4 p.m. Admission for adults is $3 and $1 for children.

1. The Board accepted Troy Bierman's resignation as F/S Boys Basketball Coach, and the Board agreed to advertise for the position for the 2009-2010 school year.

2. The Board approved a contract extension of one extra week for Amanda Hazlett for the 2009-2010 school year to visit Diversified Occupations employers.

Local World War II Veterans Honored

Recently two groups of local World War II Veterans were flown to Washington DC, free of charge, to see the WWII Memorial that was dedicated in 2004.

Dieterich School Board Met June 8

1. The Board passed a resolution to establish prevailing wage rates for the District for the 2009-2010 school year.
2. The Board accepted the resignation of Sue Bushue as Kindergarten Teacher for the Elementary School at the end of the 2008-2009 school year. Mrs. Bushue was retiring from the District with 28 years of service.
