THS Announces the January Students of the Month

Renee Breer and Andrew Vahling were recently selected as the January Students of the Month for Teutopolis High School. Renee is a senior at THS and plans to attend college in Chicago and study biology. Andrew is also a senior and plans to attend college at the University of Illinois to pursue a degree in engineering.

The Student of the Month program is sponsored by the Teutopolis Education Foundation.

Taste of T-Town Big Success!

The First National Bank of Dieterich sponsored a successful 1st Annual Taste of Teutopolis fundraiser for Catholic Heart Work Camp on January 14. The event raised a net profit of $11,000 which will help pay for the total cost of the trip, which is $38,000, for at least 75 kids and chaperones to participate in this year's mission trip.

The event was very well attended at the Knights of Columbus hall in Teutopolis. Guest Chefs' from the community cooked up their best recipes and offered "tastings" to attendees. Entertainment was provided by local talent at the event.
