Spoon River College advisor Brandy Chasteen will be visiting area high schools to meet with students interested in attending Spoon River College. She will share information on the admission process, financial aid and scholarship opportunities, transfer and technical degrees and certificate programs.

“Choosing a college is just the first of many steps involved in registering for classes. The admission procedures and navigating the financial aid process can be overwhelming, especially for students who are the first in their family to attend college,” said Chasteen. “Our goal is to get high school students thinking about it early so the entire process will be a smooth one for them.”
