Teutopolis High School is pleased to announce this year's fall musical is "Back to the 80's-The Totally Awesome Musical." Performance dates are October 23-25. Tickets went on sale October 1 in the Teutopolis High School Office.

Back to the 80's tells the story of the senior class of William Ocean High School that graduated in the 1980's as remembered and seen through the eyes of Corey Palmer, who is now 30-something. The then 17-year-old Corey is madly in love with his next-door neighbor, Tiffany Houston, one of the coolest girls in school.  Tiffany barely notices Corey as she is too busy trying to get the attention of Michael Feldman, the good-looking athlete. Corey is not the coolest kid in school, but is still one up on Feargal McFerrin III who has the crazy idea that CD's will replace cassette tapes.

The year commences with the Senior Class President Elections. Michael steals Corey's election speech and platform and is elected Class President with Tiffany as Vice-President.

Meanwhile the teachers are having issues of their own. Mr. Crocker and Miss Brannigan have been dating and Mr. Crocker has just found out about some issues that Miss Brannigan had in the past.

This musical has all the typical 80's concepts including: dance routines, 80's party scene, large amounts of blue eye-shadow, twenty cans of hairspray, as well as some of the most popular songs.
