Funeral services for Paul Hall, 91, of LeRoy and formerly of Fairbury, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury. Burial will follow at Avoca Township Cemetery, Fairbury, with full military rites accorded by Fairbury VFW and American Legion posts.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home in Fairbury.
Paul died at 12:10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, 2018, at Advocate BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.
Mr. Hall was born Oct. 2, 1926, in Muhlenburg County, Ky., the son of David Edward and Mary Jane (Baker) Hall. He married Betty Mae Butler on Jan. 18, 1947, in Paxton. She preceded him in death on Feb. 11, 2017.
Survivors include four daughters, Diana (Vince) Puleo of Bayville, N.J., Paulette Mervine of St. Paul, Minn., Patricia (Rennon) Elliott of Tucson, Ariz. and Darlene (Mark) Mundell of Normal; one sister, Hazel Henderson of Angolia, Ind.; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Four brothers; three sisters; and two granddaughters also preceded him in death.
Mr. Hall served in the U.S. Navy.
