James Fearday Passed Away

James H. Fearday, 66, of Royal Palm Beach, Florida, passed away on December 16, 2009.
Jim was born on July 27, 1943 to Raymond and Luella (Jansen) Fearday, in Teutopolis, the second of nine children. He married Carolyn Hardiek on May 29, 1965.
Jim was a 1961 graduate of Teutopolis High School, a 1965 graduate of Rose Polytechnic Ins., and he received a Ph.D. at the University of Ohio. He taught for 32 years at Slippery Rock College in Pennsylvania. Upon retiring in 2003, they moved to Florida where Jim was involved in many projects.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn; 2 sons, Christopher (wife Susan), and Alan (wife Lisa); 7 grandchildren; 4 brothers, John (Betty), Larry (Paula), Ken (Marge), Joe (Kathy); and 2 sisters, Sister Ann Fearday, and Cindy (Jim) Esker.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents; and 2 brothers, Dick and Donnie.
Funeral services were held at the Church of the Risen Messiah and burial was at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery in Royal Palm Beach, FL on December 21. Pallbearers were sons, Christopher and Alan; brothers, Ken and Joe; and nephews, Jeff and Steve Fearday.
The family wishes to thank everyone for their condolences and prayers.
