Every year on January 22, since 1973, thousands of Pro-Life advocates descend upon Washington, D.C., protesting the U.S. Supreme Court's monumental decision, to legalize abortion. It matters not that most of our country's citizens object to the Pro-Choice stance of the Supreme Court and Congress. Since then, thousands of innocent lives have been aborted annually. I strongly believe that human life begins at conception, and is entitled to the right of life, until natural death. Anything less is not acceptable. It is really hard to believe that a nation such as ours, that one time, not so long ago, was comprised of an honest, hard working, God fearing people, who would never consider such disgusting a practice. This is another case of a Congress not listening to the will of the majority of its constituents. There are a number of, so called, devout Catholics in Congress who do not believe as I do, and that is their prerogative. I just do not think they should consider themselves good Christians. To me, their position on human life is more important than the "R" or "D" before their name on the ballot.
