There was a reception for the Teutopolis Junior High School 8th grade girls' basketball team on Saturday, December 19. The girls are the 2009 Class 3A State Champions as of last night, December 17. They defeated Green Valley Midwest Central with a 19-17 victory. The reception began at 1:00 p.m. at the Junior High. Players and cheerleaders boarded fire trucks and took a ride down Main Street with a reception to follow in the Teutopolis Junior High School Gymnasium.
