T-Town Lady Shoes Defeat St. Anthony
On December 14, the Teutopolis Lady Wooden Shoes defeated St. Anthony with a score of 65-21. Teutopolis scorers: B. Niebrugge led the team with the highest score of the night with 22 points. Wendt followed behind with 14 points. Windell received 13 points, M. Kroeger received 8 points, H. Koester received 6 and B. Probst received 2. The scorers for St. Anthony were: Wolke 7, Brown 6, Amber Wenthe 3, L. Dalmier 2, McHugh 2, and Gray 1.
Teutopolis Junior High Boys Basketball
The Teutopolis 7th Grade Boys basketball team defeated Casey-Westfield with a score of 39-29. Hartke led the Teutopolis team with 15 points. Niemerg received 13 points, Jansen received 6, Thoele and Drees both received 2 points each and Mette received 1 point.
The Teutopolis 8th Grade Boys basketball team lost to Casey-Westfield with a score of 47-27. Teutopolis scorers were: Will 9, Wenthe 6, D. Probst 5, Hardiek 3, Ch. Zerrusen and Kenter both received 2 points each.
The Boys Junior High team defeated Charleston with a score of 59-24. Teutopolis scorers: Kenter 13, Goedde 12, Wenthe 8, Will 8, D. Probst 7, Hunt 6, and Hardiek 5.
The B team defeated Charleston with a close score of 37-35. Teutopolis scorers: Goldstein 14, Co. Zerrusen 6, Ungrund 6, Mette 4, L. Probst 4, and Bierman 3.
